Troubleshoot MTD Handheld Equipment
August 10th, 2015 at 5:06 pm   starstarstarstarstar

Have you noticed that your MTD handheld equipment isn't running as fast as it used to? Here's a few troubleshooting tips to follow:

1. Check first to make sure the fuel is not old. If it is, drain the gas tank and add fresh fuel.

2. You might be dealing with an improper carburetor adjustment. If this is the case, refer to your owner's manual or call a trained specialist

3. The cutting attachment may be bound with grass. Make sure you stop the engine and clean the cutting attachment.

4. Checked the air filter lately? If it's dirty, clean or replace it.

5. Make sure your spark plugs are in good shape. If they're not, clean or replace them.
